Newborn Photography Columbia SC | I love WRINKLES!

Oh yes! In a newborn photography session, I do love wrinkles….and dimples…..and peach fuzz. All of these things just make a baby even more adorable. This precious girl had plenty of those wonderful things. I loved how her skin wrinkled and rolled as I posed her for her newborn portraits. While I was processing the images, I wanted to snuggle her all over again:)

Mom and Dad also hired me for their maternity portraits many weeks ago. I was so happy to see their precious little surprise this day! I just feel so honored to be able to capture this beautiful time for families. I am feeling very tired……but incredibly blessed and happy as the holiday season approaches.

Oh, I just have to share this image! A newborn session with me takes quite some time because I strive for a calm peaceful environment and never like to rush the baby, the family, or the process. Sometimes, the environment can be a little TOO peaceful, as evidenced by daddy succumbing to my sleep tricks quicker than the baby girl! He was such a good sport when we told him we took this image. I think it’s sweet. New parents need to grab a few z’s whenever they can:)
