My name is Ashley Ward and I am a modern lifestyle portrait artist working in Columbia, SC. I am available for family and child sessions and promotional sessions (headshots). My specialty is newborn baby photography. And I absolutely ADORE what I do!

Newborn sessions are held in your home and, if weather permits, your yard or porch or other very close outdoor environment. I bring many wonderful props, blankets, hats, etc., but will also utilize any special items of your own you may want in the images. These sessions have the best results when they take place within the first 10 days of your baby’s life.

For child and family sessions, I strive to capture who my subjects really are. I love to capture moments during the sessions with a candid approach. Sessions are held in your home or take place in natural or urban settings, with natural light, instead of a studio. Play and exploration are encouraged with my young subjects and their families and I view sessions as an experience to be enjoyed and remembered.
