I’m still alive! I know I haven’t posted to the blog lately. We are very busy with a pending move right now and so I have slowed the work schedule just a little. Last time I posted, my husband was off for a week and we were so thrilled to have him all to ourselves. We decided to take another little trip down to the beach. Just a few days this time….but it was fabulous. We loved staying in my mom and stepdad’s amazing beach house – lounging on the beach and enjoying the incredible waves with our boogie boards during the day, and fishing and watching movies in the evening. This little family really needed some quality time together. And the Folly house was the perfect escape.

I know I have blogged about my mom before, Toni Forrest. She is an amazing interior decorator and Feng Shui consultant. The house that she and my stepdad built on Folly is just incredible. I recently took some images of the house and they don’t even do it justice. But I thought I would share them here.

There is also a multi-purpose room for exercising or meditating or hanging out and a beautiful upstairs porch with a fabulous hammock to lay in while you listen to the ocean. Under the house is a entertainment paradise with a fabulous private outdoor shower and dressing area, a hot tub, bar, pool table, ping pong table, and lounge area. Someday I’ll post more pics to the blog;)

Since returning from the beach, I am happy to announce we have found a home in Columbia and the movers will be here in less than two weeks! YAY! We are so excited to get back “home”. So, I will be very busy trying to wrap up some work and preparing the new home before everything has to be packed up and moved. I’ll try not to neglect the blog…..but bare with me as we make this welcome and long-awaited transition.
