Baby Photography Columia SC – Style for Miles
July 11, 2011When these clients contacted me for a baby and family photography session, I knew they would have the best style! Mom let me know they would have some wonderful family pieces to incorporate into the session. As downtown dwellers, they are used to dealing with the same issue as so many of my clients (and me too!)……smaller rooms and homes (and very little storage!). So mom thought it would be wise for me to check out the space in her sweet daughter’s nursery before the shoot. I visited their home – ADORABLE! And with two parents have worked with graphics. How could we go wrong! And while the room was small, it was so colorful and precious and so well put together. It was not a problem for me at all. Sometimes I have to use every inch of a room to get the best angles and light, but that just makes the images more fun!!!
I was super excited about this session but was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen. This summer has been the hardest on my schedule! It seems we haven’t had enough really GOOD rain, but it has been scattered about enough to cause the rescheduling of more that a few outdoor sessions……this one included. Even the morning of the session, the skies were overcast and dreary. So we shot inside and I returned later in the day to complete the outdoor portion. That almost had to be rescheduled too. The skies seemed to be half overcast and half sun and clouds directly over her house! But we went for it anyway and I LOVE what we got!
This little doll reminds me of my own daughter at that age. She was so adorable. I wanted to take her home with me! Mom and dad were great fun and made it easy to enjoy the work.
