Just sharing a few images from our afternoon fun:) The dear daughter and I had to make a visit to the laundromat to clean extremely large fluffy comforters that wouldn’t fit in a normal washer. I have always wanted to try images of a couple in a laundromat. But today my girl was a willing model and so we just shot some for fun. And she really put on the act for me…..which is always a treat for me. It was great fun. Hope you enjoy:)

Spring is here and the peach trees are beginning to bloom! YAY! I have been waiting to get back to this lovely little peach orchard for a children’s photography session. A family with two little girls is perfect for a tea party in the peach blossoms:) I loved every second of this family photo shoot. How could this not be fun…..two precious and adorably-dressed little girls, a handsome and smiley baby boy, and two kind and eager parents, green grass, blue sky, peach blossoms, dandelions, a tea party, and lolli pops!

I hope everyone in the Columbia area had a great Spring Break! We sure did. We had a chance to get away to a couple of beaches for a few days, including some time at my mom’s house on Folly. It is the perfect getaway. I wish we could have stayed longer. My daughter took a friend this time and they were so cute. I love the way these girls can play and not be doing anything especially exciting…but they seem to be having the time of their lives…truly living in the moment. Our children really can teach us so much. I am not always the best student…but I’m trying:)

Just before Spring Break I was asked to take some headshots for my daughter’s acting class. I think the kids had a great time and I loved working with them. Headshots with kids are so much fun. And even though I just had a couple of minutes with these kiddos and it wasn’t an individual headshot session for each of them, I think we got some great images! I can’t share all of them here, but this is just a sample. Later this week I will be delivering the 8x10s to the school for their “wall of fame”! How fun!

I still have another session from the week before Spring Break to share. Thank you family for being patient and I will have your preview up in a couple of days!

Paige: These are just awesome Ashley! Great expressions and perfect lighting.

Shelby: Their wall of fame will be great!
