Family Photographer Columbia SC – Happy Holidays!

Another late night post! So happy to be sharing this session. I photographed this awesome family this summer for the first time. That session was one of my in home sessions and was a lot of fun. For this session, mom wanted to be outdoors. We planned the wardrobe and items we would use to keep the girls entertained and keep a playful atmosphere all through the shoot. It turned out perfectly! You never know how smoothly things will go when you are photographing a 1 year old and a 3 year old together. But the girls were absolutely perfect and mom and dad were so amazing with their attitude and willingness to let their joy shine. And it is hard work running after kids this age! I’m sure mom and dad were as tired as me after the shoot. But it was so much fun and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have so many favorites from this shoot it was hard to narrow it down!!!

Columbia SC Child and Family Photographer – Another Year Older

She is one year old. Beautiful and sweet. The first time I met this little princess for her newborn photography session seems like just yesterday! She was tiny and perfect and I loved this family the first time I met and worked with them. And my how quickly they change!!! Just six months later I photographed her again at her 6 month old baby photography session. I love seeing my newborn subjects again throughout their first year and I marvel at their changes and development. I get a kick out of seeing how their little personalities are developing as they are growing. And here she is now…….the apple of her daddy’s eye and mommy’s little love:)

Child Photographer Columbia SC – Little Pirate

This post is long overdue! And just in time for mommy’s birthday!!!!
This is another one of my babies from a newborn session.
You know your clients are the bomb when they bring a toy like this to their session! Two and three year olds can be a challenge and this handsome little man kept me running during our whole session. You can’t tell it from some of the images but the day after this session, I was so sore and couldn’t figure out why! Up and down and up and down goes the photographer capturing an almost 3 year old boy:) But for all the madness, it was such a great joy! And seeing his family again was a pleasure too.
