Baby Photographer Columbia SC | THE GOOD STUFF! – The Luxury Album

June 14, 2012

Ashley Ward Photography has gone through a lot of changes this year. If you are a frequent visitor here to the blog or my website, you will have noticed the new logo and the re-design of my web world. Even if you frequent my facebook page, you will likely have seen these changes. Along with the web and print presence changes, my product line has undergone a big transformation as well. I have always taken great pride in offering exemplary products to showcase my client’s images but wanted to make a few changes this year…..a few upgrades.

If you have read my bio on my site or any of my blog posts, or even facebook ramblings, you may have some small idea of how I feel about the family home. Some of my best work takes place in the homes of my clients. I think there are many reasons for this but one is that I truly have respect and appreciation for the family home. I will not lie and say that I am the best housekeeper or that everything is neat and tidy and there is a place for everything and everything is in its place. I would like to claim that but that isn’t nearly true. But I do have an appreciation for everything that each home has to offer and the beauty you can find there. I believe home is a family’s sacred space. I love being able to visit my client’s homes and capture an intimacy that seems to come so much easier there. And I wanted to provide my clients with products that would compliment their homes and would be proudly displayed for the enjoyment of friends and family, as well as the client’s themselves. I wanted pieces that would blend and compliment the existing decor – not only in the wall art my clients choose, but in their albums and books as well.

The luxury album available to my clients now is truly exquisite. It is handmade with durable flush-mount album binding that allows an image to spread across two pages without splitting it in the middle. Inside you will find archival papers and fuji paper printing, with pages that are 2mm thick. This is a photographic album and not a press-printed product. The photographic printing in this album is exceptional and is the same quality you will find in mounted photographs to frame for your walls. The cover options are truly special. Choose from fine leathers shipped from Italy or select Japanese silks or natural linens. And add optional blind debossing or an image cameo to personalize your album cover.

The albums are available in a variety of sizes but I believe when it comes to your memories, the bigger the better! So you will find the impressive 11×14 album included in one of my favorite client collections. When ordering your album, take the opportunity to spoil the people who spoil your babies the best and add a couple of small duplicate albums as grandparent gifts! They will be thrilled to receive them!!
