Q What type of sessions do you schedule?
A I am available for child sessions – from newborn to teen, family or couples’ sessions, women’s sessions, and individual promotional sessions – such as those booked by individuals needing headshots or corporate images.

Q What is the Women’s Session?
A Women’s Sessions were created for women of all ages to express and celebrate who they are. A session includes a make-up consultation and application with Christi Stewart, a professional make-up artist and esthetician located at Robin’s Nest in Columbia, and a photo session with me. The session will be at a location of your choosing. It can be a natural setting such as a park or the river, or it can be more urban in nature, with rustic buildings and city streets as a backdrop. It all depends on what you want to express! These sessions are so much fun and are all about fabulous you!

Q What is a typical child or family session like?
A So much fun! We will work together to pick a wonderful location for your images – depending on what you are most comfortable with and the look we are trying to achieve. A session typically lasts an hour and a half but you will never feel rushed. I look for my sessions to be an enjoyable experience, often encouraging play and exploration, and will take a variety of images, including both posed shots and more editorial-style images. Together we will create some wonderful portraits and have an awesome time doing it!

Q What is your pricing?
A There is a session fee, which covers my time and talent while on a location of your choice. Individual and family session fees are $175 for a weekday and $200 for a weekend at locations in Columbia and Florence (please contact me for pricing of other sessions, including Women’s Sessions, Beach Sessions, and Promotional Sessions). Prints and products are priced separately. Please email me for a list of those prices.

Q Do you offer packages?
A I do offer print and product packages which save you considerable money over a la carte pricing. I also offer the occasional promotion and you will find those on my blog;)

Q Do you offer digital files?
A Yes.

Q What do I wear?!
A This is the most common question asked by my clients after booking their session! If you need help in this area, I can make recommendations or you can read my “What To Wear Guide”. Just ask me about this when you book your session if you would like to take a look;)

Q What happens after the session?
A After the session, I backup and narrow down your proofs. I then process each one in my digital darkroom. I proof sessions both online and in person. A personal proofing session will be scheduled 1-2 weeks from the session date. This is your opportunity to see your proofs in print and to see and handle all of my product samples. At your proofing session, you will also be given a password to a private online gallery where you and your friends and family can view the images for 7 days after the proofing session. Payment for orders are due upon placing the order and most products are ready for delivery within 2 weeks (the exception to this is Museum Gallery Wrap Canvases or orders placed close to a major holiday such a Christmas).

Q How many proofs will I have to choose from?
A You are guaranteed at least 20 proofs to choose from. A typical session yields somewhere between 20-40 images.

Q What type of products are available for purchase?
A I offer desktop and wall prints, Museum Gallery Wrap Canvases, Custom Storyboards, Session Albums, Coffee Table Storybooks, Custom Greeting Cards and DVD Slideshows, and digital files;)
