I promised one more week of promotions, so here it is – and there are TWO of them!

The first promotion is a contest of sorts. I am a total location junkie! I love finding new wonderful spots to take my images. And I need some new ideas. So, give me a great suggestion for a new location to try out! The person with the best suggestion will get a half price session fee for a 2009 photo session with Ashley Ward Photography. If I get multiple great location ideas I will pick one winner and will give $50 off a 2009 session fee to other great entries.

What I am looking for: Orchards! I am dying to find a great orchard location for sessions. Also, fields of wildflowers. And even if you have a totally great urban location in mind that I have not taken advantage of yet, let me know.

How to enter: Send me an email with your location idea. It must be a location that would be available for photo sessions for you as well as others (in other words, “my backyard” is not a good idea;-). Send your email to ashley@ashleywardphotography.com.

I’m posting a few images here from a playdate/impromptu photo session with a friend’s 3 beautiful children. These kids are absolutely adorable! Unfortunately, our time was cut short by the rain that started falling about 10 minutes after we got started:( But I was able to capture a few images of them and want to share them with their mommy;)

Oh my goodness! What an absolutely glorious day! It feels so good to go outside with a short-sleeved shirt and short pants and feel the sun warming my skin. I love when the weather starts to warm and the early Spring buds are starting to bloom and the birds voices fill the air.
